Stella Barahona

Paralegal

Stella brings a thoughtful and highly organised approach to her work, with a strong foundation in litigation and a genuine interest in the human side of legal practice.

Before joining Lagom, Stella worked in commercial litigation, supporting complex disputes involving property, trusts and contractual claims. Her role included preparing court documents, briefs to counsel and hearing materials, as well as liaising with clients, barristers and court registries.

Her move into family law reflects a desire to combine strong legal skills with empathy and emotional intelligence. Stella values building trust with clients and helping create clarity during difficult and uncertain periods.

Stella is completing her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Technology Sydney and has achieved strong results in legal writing, mooting and advocacy competitions.

Outside of work, Stella enjoys playing the piano, has a particular interest in Tchaikovsky, and loves exploring Sydney’s restaurant scene.
